We are excited that many businesses have been reopened for business!

Kudo to some of the local businesses that are reopened wisely with excellent ideas and game plans.

Some of which are my favorite, such as Panera Bread, Olive Garden, Landry Club's Saltgrass, Pinkberry, Shabro Hot Pot shabu shabu, and more. I named these few businesses here because of my own personal experience with these businesses.

They stay in touch with me with newsletters regularly. Keeping me up to date on what is going on with their businesses and how I can be part of the community and how to support them with curbside pick-up, delivery, and drive-through orders.

Then when these businesses were reopened, they notified us via their newsletter and invited us back in their dining area assuring us that the dining room inside is COVID Compliant with 6-feet social distancing between tables.

They offered me rewards, free stuff, birthday presents, and other great marketing ideas that brought me to their business.

With the COVID-19 hitting the world since the beginning of this year, many businesses, big and small, have been closed. Some of those businesses are closed for good.

People are not going out and are not spending money. When businesses start reopening, many people are set in their way and not going out, and definitely not spending money like they used to in the old days.

Other smart businesses are, like Sally Beauty, Home Depot, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Sam's Club and several more. They offer store cards! So, people are out there buying but paying what they can little at a time.

Those store cards help businesses locally and help people with little money from lack of jobs, able to buy things they need.

Most of all, we thank T-Mobile for their Mobile Tuesday deals every week. Because of these great and wise businesses above, it brought me out of my home and started being part of the community and supporting it like before.

First place I went back out to visit and eat out was Panera Bread a month ago. I brought my spray bottle of alcohol and wiped down everything that is around me and everything that I will be touching.

I sprayed the table and chairs first, definitely. Panera Bread was cool about that.

At first, I was very worried about going out to eat in any place but after spraying everything down that I would be touching and using, and with a mask required, and gloves on, I started to feel like the good old days are back.

I started going to other places and gave the businesses my support.

The 2nd place I went to eat and dine-in was Saltgrass for my birthday reward from Landry's Club.

Next, I went to Olive Garden. They send me my birthday cake coupon. I was so happy that day eating out!

Like all other businesses that are opened for dine-in, Panera Bread, Olive Garden, Shabro Hot Pot shabu shabu, they have tables far away from each other with 6 feet apart as required by law. So, we sat with people far from us.

We are thankful for the businesses for hanging in there during this COVID-19 pandemic. Now, with businesses starting to reopen, little at a time, we are getting back to our old way of life with some small changes in the community.

Nonetheless, we are very thankful for the businesses for staying in place during the lockdown and now reopened for business again!
