As a Group Trainer and Personal Coach, Jeremiah brings to the DFW area
30 years of experience in designing and conducting training programs in networking, selling, self-motivation, Strengths Development and personal money management.
He is the author of Persuasive Communications, a training manual that teaches a Win/Win approach to selling.
Jeremiah designed a sales training program for the membership drive at the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce. New memberships exceeded the chamber goal by 50 percent.
While working as Education Director for Consumer Credit Counseling Service,
Jeremiah designed the Money Control Workshop, an action-oriented, 4-session training program that won a National Education Award. He then trained 100 people to conduct the training in 50 cities.
Jeremiah has conducted various 4-week workshops for members of the
Chamber of Commerce in both Allen and Frisco.
In the past year, Jeremiah designed and conducted five Business Growth Workshops for members of the Denton Chamber. The training helped Group Members improve their networking skills because they met weekly in a 4-session training format. The participants got to do various Action Assignments in the week between sessions that increased their skills in Persuasive Communication and Active Listening.
At the start of the next session, people would share their successes and challenges of the previous week. In this way, people “learned by doing” and taught each other. This is the power of Small Group Dynamics.
Individuals who are personally coached by Jeremiah also achieve results because he talks with them on a weekly basis. An individual sets the agenda for the week and then reports 7 days later about what she has accomplished and then determines what opportunities she needs to focus on in the coming week.
Jeremiah earned his master’s degree from Kansas State University and taught for 5 years at Benedictine College before going into business as a group trainer and personal coach.
His college teaching experience taught him that true “learning” is a change in behavior, like riding a bike, writing a composition or developing trust when you meet another business person at a networking meeting.
By using an Action-oriented, weekly approach in his coaching and training, Jeremiah helps people to increase their skills in networking and selling, to discover and develop their natural Strengths, and also to get clarity about their Life Purpose.
