Today is a great day! It's the day that Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, is launching his brand new book that he wrote called Delivering Happiness.  He is launching this great event across the wold via the World Wide Web LIVE via UStream and LIVE in person in NYC at the Hudson Hotel, 356 West 58th Street, New York, NY 10019

I received the book and have already read 22 pages.  I laughed and laughed.  I can easily associate with the many stories fromf Tony's childhood.  My first pet was a silk worm.  I too wanted to launch a business and sell worms like he did.  I can relate to so ma

ny of the stories that Tony has written in this book.  

I read the book out loud with my family listening to it, especially my teenage son who is graduating from High School this year.  He was giggling listening to some of the stories about the things Tony did when he was a child entrepreneur and as a teenager.  Funny!  It's a great book.

Well, why would I write a blog a day on this book?  Here's why.  After reading from the very beginning of the book's Introduction all the way to page 22, I realized, this is a great book for businesses and entrepreneurs to read and learn from.  Read how Tony learned from his earthworm farm, his newspaper route, his button making business at middle school, and how he passed the business to his brother, who then later on passed it to his youngest brother, which ultimately, that little business became the family enterprise.  Read mistakes a little child made, which we, as adults can learn from.  Read how he put a great idea into action, how he made quick decisions to drop what was eating up his time (still a little kid), and quickly moved on to something better and more profitable.  Yes!  Very entertaining.  And I'm only up to page 22!!  Still have many more pages to read.

This is a great book and, as one who enjoys reading immensely, especially business books, I  highly recommend Delivering Happiness.
