Aimee's Daily Notes, Jan. 18, 2017: Wednesday Marketing Tips!  Branding

A long time ago, I went into the supermarket looking for the tomato sauce that I always used, but it was no where in sight. I walked up and down the aisle looking up and down the shelves, it wasn't there. I finally asked the staff for help. The knew exactly what I was talking about. They brought me to the shelves where the tomato sauce was. I could't believe it. It was right there in front of me. I didn't know it was the sauce that I've been using forever. They change the label, the design, and everything. It looks like a brand new company that just came out. Totally not recognizable.

Make sure your brand stay the same if it is working. If you make any changes, must let your customers know so they can find you.

Aimee's Daily Notes, Jan. 17, 2017: Tuesdasy Entrepreneur Tips! You are Your Best and Toughest Manager

Remember, as an entrepreneur, you need to make sure that you are your best and toughest manager.  You set goals and tasks to accomplish on a regularly basis.  No taking a break longer than normal just because you're on your own.  Make sure that you stick to a game plan for your business.  For example, I have a very strict game plan for making sure we have new people, follow-up with potential clients, meetings, closing, order to process and works to complete, all on a weekly basis.  If any on eof these items are less in an part of the week, I will check with my team and push them to do more to make sure they accomplish the goal.  Setting goals is very important.  It is like a road map that guides you from point A to point B.  Stick to your game plan.

Aimee's Daily Notes, Jan. 16, 2017: Monday Business Tips! Self Dicipline

One of the subjects in our workbook that we covered at our Business Networking event last week is Self Discipline. When you wake up in the morning, think of good things, happy thoughts help make your day more productive. You'll feel better and the day goes by easier. If you're in business for yourself, that self discipline is crucial. One of the things that people do in the morning is to turn on that T.V. Nowadays is people will go check the news on the internet, YouTube, Facebook or all of them and more. It pulls you in and there goes your morning and the rest of your day. Take care of business and make sure that you're positive for the day. Makes a big different. Try it.
